Terms & Conditions

By submitting a booking enquiry or signing the handover documentation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

You must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid Malaysian driving licence (or a valid international driving permit where applicable) to rent a vehicle from Lumenwheel.

If you are booking on behalf of another person, you confirm that person has authorised you to enter into this Agreement and that they have read these Terms.

Lumenwheel provides three holiday season car rental plans from our Cyberjaya, Selangor location:

• Single-Day Holiday Compact — one calendar day, compact vehicle, RM 510
• Three-Day Holiday Plan — three calendar days, mid-size vehicle, RM 1,900
• Weeklong Holiday Touring — seven calendar days, comfort-class vehicle, RM 4,500

Each plan includes the inclusions stated on our Solutions page. Services are available subject to vehicle availability at the time of booking.

You agree to the following as a condition of rental:

• Present a valid driving licence and identification document at vehicle handover
• Operate the vehicle only on roads for which it is legally permitted
• Return the vehicle in the same condition as received, allowing for ordinary wear
• Not allow any unlicensed individual to operate the vehicle
• Not use the vehicle for any commercial transport of passengers or goods
• Not drive the vehicle outside Peninsular Malaysia without prior written agreement
• Report any accident, damage, or theft to Lumenwheel and the relevant Malaysian authorities as soon as practicable
• Return the vehicle by the agreed return time; late returns must be communicated in advance

All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of the inclusions stated per plan. Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking.

A booking deposit may be required to secure your preferred dates during peak festive periods. The remaining balance is due at vehicle handover unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 7 days before the rental start date may be eligible for a partial refund, minus any processing costs. Cancellations within 7 days of the rental start date are non-refundable. Early returns do not entitle the renter to a partial refund of the plan price.

We accept payment via bank transfer or other methods confirmed at booking. Cash payments at handover are accepted at our Cyberjaya location.

Vehicle handover: Vehicles are handed over at our Cyberjaya location by appointment. The renter must be present in person with valid identification. Condition is recorded at handover and return.

Fuel: Vehicles are provided with a full fuel tank and must be returned with a full tank. Any shortfall will be charged at prevailing pump rates.

Traffic offences and tolls: The renter is responsible for all traffic fines, toll charges, and parking fees incurred during the rental period.

Insurance: All vehicles are covered with comprehensive insurance in line with JPJ requirements. The insurance coverage is subject to the terms of the insurance policy. The renter may be liable for a damage excess in the event of an at-fault incident.

Contingency dispatch: The contingency vehicle dispatch provision available under the Weeklong Plan is provided on a best-efforts basis and is subject to availability at the time of request.

Lumenwheel provides vehicles and associated briefing services in good faith. We do not warrant that any particular road conditions, travel times, or routes will be free from congestion, delay, or hazard during the rental period, including during festive seasons.

Route briefings are provided as general guidance and do not constitute professional navigation advice. The renter is responsible for all driving decisions made during the rental period.

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Lumenwheel's total liability for any claim arising from a rental shall not exceed the total amount paid by the renter for that specific rental period.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages including loss of income, travel delays not caused by our direct action, or costs arising from events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

We encourage renters to contact us directly at [email protected] to attempt informal resolution before pursuing any formal legal action. We will respond to written complaints within 14 working days.

Entire agreement: These Terms, together with your booking confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lumenwheel for the rental.

Severability: If any clause in these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue in full force.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms on one occasion does not constitute a waiver of that provision in future.
